Annual HECSE Meeting

The 2008 Annual HECSE Meeting will be held in Washington, DC on January 16-19 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1250 22nd Street. Hotel reservations can be made be contacting the hotel directly (202/857-3388).

The HECSE Executive Board will meet from 1-4 pm.

The meeting will begin with a reception at 5 pm and an opening session from 6-7 pm. Small group dinner discussions will begin at 7:30 pm.

Thursday, January 17, 2008

A doctoral student breakfast will be held on Thursday from 7:30-8:30 am.

An orientation session will be held from 8:30 - 10 am followed by visits to Capitol Hill for HECSE members to meet with their elected officials. A debriefing of the congretional visits will be held from 5-6 pm followed by a reception.

A full-day of sessions will be held on Capitol Hill from 8:30 - 4:30 pm.

Saturday, January 19, 2008

The HECSE business meeting will be held from 8:30-11:30 am at the Embassy Suites. The meeting will adjourn at 11:30 am.
